Proposal:
Black Dog Promotions recommends “Online Endorsement” marketing campaign. Online Endorsement
marketing differs from traditional banner ads, email blasts, etc. in
that satisfied customers promote products/services by recommending them
to their friends via, email, chat rooms and online communities. A third
party endorsement from someone they know could greatly reduce the fear
of trying a new product online and lead to greatly increased sales.
Black Dog Promotions would enlist its street team members to begin
contacting their friends with a special invitation and link generated by
you. In addition, the
Black Dog street
team would also post their recommendation and link on hundreds of chat
room, message boards and communities (Yahoo, MSN, MySpace). Black Dog
and its street team would also recruit additional members to market in
this fashion.
Through it relationships with many record labels
and other companies, Black Dog can provide an number of incentives for
the street team to market products/services such as CDs, concert
tickets, t-shirts, etc in addition to providing cash bonuses for the top
poster, recruiter, etc.
Black Dog
Promotions agrees to:
- Distribute
client approved message and link to its database of college age
students on a monthly basis promoting the Client offers.
- Enlist
and recruit online street team to market approved message and link
via personal emails, message board posts, etc.
- Create
online communities to promote and discuss Client and its offers
- Provide
weekly progress reports of activities
- Provide
compensation and incentives for street team.
- Include
banner and link on network of websites and online communities for
length of campaign.
- Include
ad in newsletter for length of campaign. Newsletter is distributed
to over 400,000 music fans, college students, etc.
